Emily aka ems as he is actually a boy cat but was told he was a girl at birth ! Had a cat fight , we assume, that left him with a huge absess on his head and a trauma on his eye. The healed. The eye didnt. Sadly ems eye needs removing. When we took him to have his eye checked his eye pressure was 42. This is very high. Meaning he is in lots of pain. But ems is such a tropper hes still been eating ( alot) and is such a purry cuddle monster. The whole neighbourhood loves him. He has tolerated alot of pain and is still cuddlely. He has been given eye drops to hopefully lesson the pain. But vet says he needs eye removed as inside its all squishy and traumatised so it wont ever go away. Meanwhile he is in moderate pain from the pressure build up of all the fluid as it cant drain off poor ems. The surgery at alders vets guildford is 600 pound. Rspca Millbrook have kindly offered 400 which is fantastic! And so so kind. Meanwhile we are raising the rest. We have only 150 to go !!! . Last year ems lost pal shadow, he was killed on their door step by two staffies who live down road. I wont go on as it was just horrific. No animal should die that way.
