Up to 7 out of 10 people who suffer a cardiac arrest could survive if they are treated with a defibrillator with the first 5 minutes!

We believe that defibrillators should be available in as many places as possible.

At East Thurrock United Youth Football Club we currently have 7 youth teams ranging from Under 7 through to Under 15. With visiting teams and visitors there could be approximately 150-200 young children playing or participating in football on any given day. This number will likely increase year on year when new youth teams are added.

We therefore feel that this is hugely important that every one of those young children have access to a defibrillator should they need it.

This life saving equipment can make the difference and the opportunity to turn a very negative situation into a very positive one.
