Story
Oli Nicol is runnning the Reading Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on 17th March 2019 to raise money in memory of his late father Keith who had Alzheimer's. In the later stages of life, Keith regularly attended events held at Immnauel Church Community Centre and funds raised by Oli will go directly to help the great work the Church does supporting people with dementia and their carers.
Dementia can be very isolating and donations are needed to fund weekly activities which encourage those living with dementia to continue to be part of the community. Support is also provided to carers and carers who have been bereaved.
Sally is based at Immanuel Church, Bournemouth and works with a team of volunteers to organise events that support older people with a special emphasis on those living with dementia'
