Story
My Mum and I both ran the GEAR 10 km race last year to raise money for my fothcoming ‘World Challenge’ trip to Tanzania this summer and a big thank you to those of you who sponsored me. The departure date is drawing near and we have decided that before I leave in July, we will run it together again as a final push to try to raise the last of the money I need to fund the trip.
The WORLD CHALLANGE trip to Tanzania is an oppurtunity of a lifetime - enabling me to go to Tanzania for 4 weeks, during which I will spend time trekking, volutnteering in both a local school and a conservation project and spending time experiencing Tanzanian culture. However, this once in a lifetime experience comes at a cost; I am hoping that this final fundraiser will help get me over the line!
Mum and I have both been training for it and I would really appreciate any donations, no matter how small. Many thanks! Isi x

5 years agoI have now finished the 10K race which I completed in under a hour which I’m really proud of. Unfortunately mum wasn’t able to run but thankfully my little sister came to the rescue to race with me (and get a better time!) so thank you Maddie! Thank you again for all the generous donations that you have given me - all the money will be vital to helping to fund my trip. Many thanks - Isi
