This time last year my sister Lorraine Oates and myself Derryl Disney entered the 2019 Robin Hood Half Marathon (our first ) in hope of raising funds for DRUE .Unfortunately since Jan 2019 foot injections ,foot operation ,broken toes ,sprained knees ,below knee injuries,pulled backs , shoulder physio ,? a further right foot neuroma ,extra work and family commitments forced us to have missed 6 months of running.Well we are now back ! It's not been an easy return and we've not been unable to put in the full training we would have liked so was prepared to forgo this event . But on receiving our packs and much deliberation , have decided to knuckle down and give this our best shot .With our determination ,support of our other sister Moira Twiggs who will be running with us and our running club friends NWR (trotters group) after 13miles of hard work WE WILL cross that line on 30th sept even if we have to crawl over it
So please try to sponsor us and help us raise much needed funds for this great charity which is close to our hearts as we adopted our own 3 furbabies from them.
