Hi all!

I have an amazing opportunity to go to Kenya for 2.5 weeks with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology and Divine Mercy University's Center for Trauma and Resiliency Studies. We will be approximately 80 miles from Nairobi hosted by an orphanage named Into Abba's Arms. This is a Christian ministry working with children who have been abused, trafficked, and/or abandoned. We will also be working alongside Churches, refugee camps, the prison system, the police department, hospitals and more. Some of the work we will be doing include: providing training to other professionals and NGO's about trauma, sexual trauma, human trafficking, domestic violence, as well as hosting a Women's Conference, and Men's Conference. We will also be providing direct work/support for those in need (the children, refugees, families, and other professionals) through individual and group therapeutic sessions.

However, for me to be able to go, I will need your help! Firstly by praying for me, for my team, and for our trip. Secondly by financial support towards the cost of the trip which is $3300. This amount would cover airfare to and from Kenya, transportation, travel insurance, room and board, interpreters, clinical supervision, and our debrief at the end of the trip.
