We would like to provide all our early years children with a safe and secure outside area to play, explore and develop new skills. A large amount of families and children in our area have no access to personal outside space. We are from a highly populated deprived area and many families are in temporary accommodation with no access to outside space. Young children must experience the outdoors to appreciate its benefits. Without these spaces available we are seeing a growing rate of over weight children with a limited respect for its beauty.
