Thank you for all those that have donated so far. I was inspired by my adult learners (I teach basic ICT skills). Sadly, many of my learners are in my class due to the digital change that they have faced. Some are feeling the fear of being isolated and alone as they don't have access to a computer or lack the skills to keep up with today's world.

On top of all of this, my adult learners come to adult learning centre's to gain the skills to better their life's and to keep up with the changes. but centre's lack the equipment or lack the funding to have updated computers/laptops in classes due to funding cuts. it was reported that adult learning has faced a year on year funding cut. Recently 40%. this would have a huge impact on the out reach programmees like basic computing skills.

I wanted to create a charity to help local communities to keep up to date with funding computer rooms in area that would benefit the most. I see first hand the positive impact this has. so the next time you are doing a fundraiser, or a run! do it in our name.

Founded in 2019, Digital Aware has been working hard with the help our local adult education communities. Our work is dedicated to funding and delivering charitable service, and we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance.
