6 children have been through more than what any child should ever deal with.
A brother and sister and cousin were neglected and abused by their parents for so long they have forgotten how to be children. They are old before their years, they became the parents. On a daily basis they would suffer physical and mental abuse, they were forced to live in disgusting conditions and there were no clean clothes, no clean pots, no food in the cupboards, they were riddled in headlice, school attendance was extremely low. They suffered this all their lives.
One child now lives with her grandparents who now have full parental rights and has no contact with her birth parents they simply aren't interested. And brother and sister now live with their aunt and uncle and 3 cousin's who also have full parental rights. The parents dont currently have much contact but only due to safety and to save the children from mind games and further abuse. The battle fought by the guardian's was long and hard and all suffered the abuse of the birth parents and threatened on daily basis despite restraining orders and police ect.
The grandparents have worked very hard all their lives and have battled their own battles. Grandmother suffers numerous disabilities but fights daily to give her granddaughter the best life possible whilst grandad works each day so money is always very tight as there is only one breadwinner and scrimp and scrape just to provide a special day out. Aunt and uncle both work uncle full time and aunt on zero hours working around the uncle. Also very little income but working as any hours and can come by without affecting home life they sometimes get a special day out after weeks and weeks of saving.
The family have come together to look into a once in a lifetime holiday and have priced up everything to give them the best most memorable trip, escape reality and make a dream come true for disney fanatic children. This kind of holiday is a far fetched dream where money is concerned.
