Too many dogs end up in shelters and only a small number ever find their forever home. The rest will live out the rest of their days in the shelter, cared for and loved by the shelter staff if they're lucky, but never again know the warmth and security of a home and family.

Some, however, are taken to high kill shelters where they will eventually be euthanised if a proper home cannot be found for them.

Healthy, loving, innocent dogs are put down every day.
