Story
Sarah Poole is the Daughter in Law of Club Member Debbie and the mother of ten year old Beth. Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer last November. Her mum had died of it but Sarah was not offered a mammogram. By January, the cancer had spread to her spine, liver and lymph nodes. Sarah has fought really hard with chemotherapy and a trial drug. In August, she had a seizure. “I had 32 bits of broken off tumour in my brain and a couple had bled which caused the seizure. I was not supposed to survive, but I did.” Money raised will go towards 'last chance' proton beam therapy an advanced high energy treatment.
