We are raising money to support an amazing lady who has courageously taken cancer on from the outset but the stubborn &@&£)(;£& keeps coming back for more. This terrible disease has struck or will strike each and every one of us in our lives so if we can raise some money to support Gemma in her next round of treatment then it's the least we can do.

So... what myself (Leighton Paul) and Chris Payton (Tiff) are going to do is cycle the Manchester 100 (miles that is) on 2nd September. So far training has gone really well ish. Ride 1 was a 30 miler in decent conditions and felt good. However, when looking to up the distance last week, the ride ended after a mile and half with Tiff getting a puncture. Not ideal preparation I know, but no one is prepared for a lot that fate throws their way. Equally, the mental and physical pain that we will go through on the day will be nothing compared to what Gemma has put up with in recent times.

Please dig deep. Maybe have one less pint over the bank holiday and launch it our way? It's for a great cause.
