Hello, my name is Bethany Hill and I will be running a half marathon in Sheffield, April 2019. I'm running this marathon for 2 reasons, 1. to help out a family in need and 2. to raise money for cancer.

A few months ago now, A family friend was told he had cancer down his spine and on his neck and was told that he could not work, he has just had an operation and had around 90% of the cancer removed. He has also had the proton treatment which is meant to remove the rest but we currently don't know if it has. He recently has decided and has been told he can work again but to take it easy and I would like to help them out while he is getting back onto his feet.

On the 4th January 2011,my dad, Ian Hill past away in Ashgate Hospice who was so wonderful looking after him and made him feel like he was at home and On 22nd December 2017 my beautiful Nanna Migs passed away after a brave fight against pancreatic cancer. she was the most amazing woman I have ever known and she was very adventurous, she loved the outdoors and she was pure of heart, a kind soul, always thinking of other. I would like to also raise for a cancer charity or ash gate
