Molly needs our help!

Molly was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at just 5 months old. She has always disliked being touched - in particular down one side of her body. Her owner tells us that Molly behaves like a much older dog, moving as little as possible and not interested in play at all. Molly's family bought a puppy into the home last summer. Molly cannot tolerate the puppy and is generally miserable and her behaviour has deteriorated.

Molly's owner has two children with disabilities and increasingly Molly is finding it difficult to cope with what can be a stressful, noisy and busy household. Although her most recent xrays indicate that her hip dysplasia is "mild" her dislike of being touched and her general behaviour - not wanting to play and wanting to move about as little as possible - is likely to need further investigation.

Molly cannot stay with her family as she is increasingly stressed and her behaviour is unpredictable, and she needs to be moved to specialist boarding/rescue where she will need to remain until her needs - both medical and behavioural - can be properly assessed.

We need to raise funds to cover Molly's care whilst being boarded as well as any costs associated with these assessments and their outcomes if we are to give this poor little girl a chance.
