Hi , the TRANENT BELTERS CHARITY CLUB are holding their annual sponsored walk on Sunday 23rd September . This walk will be done by our members and anyone that wants to come along and give us their support . The walk is approx 10 miles long .This year the Belters have decided our chosen charity is DOWNS SYNDROME SCOTLAND . This is in memory off our wee friend John Martin . As most of you will know John was a very close friend of the Belters for many years . Also later in the year we will be having our Christmas Show , hosted by our good friend and honorary life member , Davie Martin in the Store Club , where money raised on the day will also go towards Downs Syndrom . Finally to finish off our fundraising for this good cause , our Welsh friends , the Bowler Hat Club from Gilfach Goch arrive for the Scotland v Wales rugby match , March next year , where once again we will be out with our collection buckets .
