My name is Dawid, I'm -27 years old and I'm trying to raise money to take part in a personal trainer level 3 course to take my business to the next level and achieve my dream. I am not eligible for a free YMCA or college course, as I am over the age limit, and my disability limits me from taking on paid employment as others may be able to do. Being able to complete this course would give me a greater knowledge of fitness training to support my clients with their fitness goals, and this work would give me the opportunity to have paid clients.

I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects my movement and the coordination of my limbs. however, this does not stop me from participating in sports activities and being a valid member of my community. I have been interested in the gym for quite a few years now, and I'm passionate about sport, and my dream job is personal training.

I am currently volunteering at Bradley Stoke Leisure centre in Bristol, with my Level 2 fitness instructor qualification and would now love to take my training to the next level. I have several regular clients that I train and we learn from one another. I am unable to charge people with just the level 2, so currently I am doing this for free which is great fun, however I would like to take the next step now.

I am fundraising for the cost of the course, and the cost of the hours for my personal assistant to come along to the course with me to assist me, which I require to be able to attend. I hope to book on to a course shortly after raising the funds.

Course £1,500
Personal Assistant £3,000 at £10pph for Monday to Friday, 10 hours a day, for five weeks, and flexible hours.
