There are so many ways in which it seems we are powerless. But what we can do is come together and support one another as a community of friends and family. Nearly 4 years ago, our dear friend Sophie fell ill with Japanese Encephalitis and is still in a care home. One glorious day, we hope to get her home. It's going to take lots of things, and one of them is money. So it is that we want to hold a gathering over the weekend of 9th-11th August at a lovely cottage to celebrate life and raise money for Sophie and her charity of choice - Plantlife (she worked as a researcher and lecturer in plant conservation). Please join us for a weekend to remember - with music, good food, dancing and generally all the best things in life. It's £25 for the whole weekend and £10 for a Saturday daytime only.
