My daughter is a very keen horse rider & developed quite a strong bond with a pony called Indie.My daughter has had Indie on a part loan since november before her brother Dylan died of flu b & sepsis 26 weeks ago on the 20th of January aged only 12. My daughter & indie survived the coldest winter together & this still didn’t put her off 😍🐴. The snowy weather , the icy ❄️ weather & the rain ☔️.

Then sadly my daughter lost her brother my son her best mate suddenly to flu b & sepsis ..a strong bond between herself & her brother just two years between them 💔😢. This was the hardest & sadest time for her & us all As a family.horrific & cruel.

As a mum I watched my daughter grow closer & closer to this pony they built a trust & bond between them. One day I walked passed Indies stable & out the corner of my eye I saw my daughter sitting on her 😯 I thought to myself omg what am I going to do if this pony is taken away ....

so I talked to my husband & I said we need to try buy this pony & im worried about the bond our daughter has with Indie since Dylan so ....... long story short this is what we did after weeks of sorting this out we did it we purchased Indie.

Truly perfect & I couldn’t wish for a better reaction off my daughter when we surprised her a big bow on indie just perfect .. it’s bitter sweet we all wanted Dylan here but I guess we’re trying our best to do whatever we can to get us through this nightmare ... This was not a whim Amelia loves horses as much as Dylan loved Football ⚽️. Shes a kind jockey a loving girl & a keen member of pony club. my daughter enjoys the ground work as much as the riding. Her passion is jumping & schooling a pony. My daughter loves hacking & basically loving a pony like a best friend.This is my daughters therapy Iv seen it with my own eyes 👀 & this also rubs off on me , my other son & husband. It’s the outdoors it’s peaceful it’s just what we need.

Sadly after we surprised our daughter 25 weeks after Dylan passed away we had another tragic time we had a phone call this week that knocked us sick ..Our daughters pony indie had been kicked by another horse & her leg was broken. We rushed to see her in her field & the vet was there & said we had to say goodbye to her. how could this be ????? Surely not our pony after so much joy of owning her .... why indie ??!!

A new pony will not replace her but in time it may help my daughter to smile again deep from her heart. As a mum i will do all that i can & this is why im setting up this page ...iv had many offers for others to help me & set this up but this is something i wanted to do with no pressure on anyone else but I do however have these great friends to help my daughter & I search to find this pony that is out there somewhere waiting for her to love & a new home a kind home.
