Dumballers past and present: Kerala needs you!

Over the last three years our friends in Kerela have helped us raise thousands for causes close to our heart: now its time to give a little back to these beautiful people, in this beautiful part of the planet.

Hundreds have died and thousands of stranded people are awaiting rescue as the floods continue to batter the Indian state of Kerala.

At least 357 people have died in just over a week as the southern state experiences its worst flooding in a century, with rainfall in some areas well over double that of a typical monsoon season.

With more downpours predicted, the central government has dispatched multiple military units to Kerala and state officials are pleading for additional help.

The damage from the flooding runs into billions of dollars

Helicopters have been dropping emergency food and water supplies and special trains carrying drinking water and rice have been sent to the state.More than 350,000 people have been relocated to 3,026 relief camps, and volunteers have rallied at centres to organise food packages and help for those fleeing the water.
