Hello lovely people! Thank you for checking out our page.

We are Matt and Cal Edge, and our three children Bethany, Joseph and Benjamin. We (the grown ups) have known for a long time that one day we would leave our native UK and move abroad to do something useful with poor people, somehow combining practical help with sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

After many years of waiting we feel the time is now getting close to get up and go, and we're beginning to wonder whether the country we're called to is Mexico. We would love to investigate this as a family. We have recently got to know a little about a charity called Amor which works in Mexico, building houses for homeless families.

Amor are holding a get together called Global Gathering just after Christmas 2018. It's very hands on, with an opportunity to help build houses for homeless Mexican families as well as other community outreach, alongside engaging in worship, teaching and networking. We would love to attend this gathering as a family, not just to have an awesome experience for our family whilst making a difference to someone else's, but also investigating whether Mexico is the country we are to be in long term, and whether Amor is the family we can join to pursue the work we know we are called to do.

We felt God nudged us towards the idea of 'raising support' for this trip, and although it's a notion a little outside our comfort zone, we have already been so moved and humbled by the great kindness of others, and so grateful to have you with us on the journey. It's so much more encouraging than if we had been able to do this on our own!
