The toddler group in Scothern has been going for 40 plus years, a very valuable service to the community but right now the groups immediate future is in jeopardy. Falling attendance over the years and rising everyday running costs have eaten into any savings the group had accumulated and we are currently running at a small loss. On top of weekly rent we are also required to hold Public Liability insurance for the Group, this extra cost for the insurance renewal is now due and we just do not have the funds available. The leader is "happy to do some fundraising of some sort such as a coffee morning, raffle, cake sale or looking into funding/grants to sustain a healthy bank balance" but it has also been suggested that we try the just giving page hence this. We don't mind how little the contribution is but literally every bit really does count so please please if you could donate anything even just your spare change please do....it really will make a difference locally and will be appreciated.

This group is a place to come to make new friends, to chat to other parents, grandparents, childminders and carers. The children get to have a lovely play and make new friendships.
