No matter how unusual or impertinent this request is, I feel I have to ask for your help. As you are aware, I gave up full time work to become a student of art & design. I am so passionate about my art and you guys have all been so kind, supportive and appreciative of my work. I have been overwhelmed when you purchased prints from me and gave me commissions to undertake. I have thrived on all of your positivity and it's completely changed my life for the better. Thank you. I've now been offered the chance to take my studies to the next level and I hope to do so. I have also been offered a 2 day pitch at an all student art fayre in Glasgow City Centre in mid May. By participating in this event, I am able to collate a comprehensive sales record, gather more client contact details, network with other artists with the potential of collaborative projects and gain further commissions/recommendations/social media presence and likes. These things are invaluable to me as I make the transition to self-employment and additionally this type of information will go a long way to supporting an application for a business start up grant. I am therefore respectfully asking for your help again, however small, but definitely gratefully received and put to excellent use. I believe that I can make a great success of my creative skillset and I hope you agree and decide to invest in me.
