I work as a support worker for the homeless in Inverness. My clients come from all walks of life and come to us to get somewhere to stay until housed by the local council. I would like to make them a Xmas dinner to make the festive time a bit more bearable for them. Most of us take visiting family and food on our table for granted... My clients don't have that privilege, so if I can make them smile then that's all I need for Christmas. I'm not asking for a fortune, a quid from friends and family all adds up. We do get food stuff donated through head office, but I want to do this personally for them, my gift if you like. If I get more money than needed, it'll get used, as I cook at least once a month. UPDATE!!!! Since I've raised much more than I had anticipated, there are other homeless units within my place of work, so I'll distribute the money throughout xxxx

Another update... I'll keep pushing this until the 30th November, as I know most people get paid then. Then I'll start getting organised with what I need to buy for everyone.
