On July 7th 2019, Marcos and Ellie will be completing a long distance swim (3.8km) at Hever Castle’s Festival of Endurance.

We‘re doing this to raise money for a cause that desperately needs help.

Dumpster Doggies is a small charity run by two inspiring women, Sebhat and Cigdem. They live in Kastamonu (Turkey) and spend every free hour they have feeding and treating abandoned dogs and cats who have been left behind by their owners. At the moment, they have no shelter and no money to build one. Every time they leave food or create a temporary home, it is stolen by locals. They desperately need funds to buy land and construct a permanent shelter to look after these animals.

Even £5 goes a huge way. So please donate what you can and know that your money will make a huge difference to the lives of these women and the animals they are trying to save.

I know there are so many ‘human’ charities that need our support but I really believe that if we help these animals in need, hundreds of people will enrich their lives by adopting these loving companions!
