My partner Elise is 21 years old and currently fighting Ewing's Sarcoma. Ewing's Sarcoma is a malignant ,round, blue cell tumor. It is a rare and aggressive disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or in soft tissue. Elise's tumor is located on the bone in the left side of her pelvis. Elise is currently having an intensive course of chemotherapy to shrink the tumor with hopes they will be able to operate in the future Elise has been given a wonderful opportunity to move for 3 months to Florida for proton therapy which is a more accurately targeted form of radiotherapy therefore reducing the risk of damage to other organs around the tumor due to radiotherapy which could cause additional cancers later in her life. We now have a decision for this from a panel and will be going at the end if August/start of September. NHS England have been amazingly generous and are able to fund her treatment and travel costs/insurance however we need to fund raise for both myself and Elise's living costs while we are away and the cost of keeping our house running in the UK while we are gone. To make it possible for us to go. we are desperately reaching out for your help. Should anything change resulting in us being unable to travel for proton therapy all proceeds would go towards other thing's Elise requires for her care during her day to day life.

Anyone who knows Elise knows how much joy she brings to those around her. I have always been amazed by her ability to hold the sunshine of the earth within her smile and she is truly a woman who would do anything for anyone she loves and cares about.
