Immaculate Heart Of Mary (IHM) is a senior secondary school in Kisimu Uganda. Its both a day / boarding school for both boys and girls from different backgrounds, from the neighbouring villages. We have student from 12 years to 16 years of age, most students are from families unable to carter for their educations, thus with the limited school funds we have been unable to complete the structural buildings.

The school grounds contain class rooms, dormitories, shower rooms / toilet facilities and kitchen. We need to construct a main hall which the school should be able to use for different activities.

The hope is that IHM senior secondary school should be able to use the hall for indoor sports activities, Drama / entertainment incase of poor weather. At the moment the student / school has no choice, they do all these activities outdoors, however as soon as there is poor weather which is regularly, everything goes to a standstill, activities are cancelled, wasting time, resources which overall, affects the student learning / performance.

The hall will be used as a dining area for the students, they will be sharing meals together, create good habits, good morale and encourage making friends outside class room areas.

It will be an assembly area as it rains a lot in Uganda, thus the student can have a place to meet if it is raining / poor weather.

The Hall will be used for different school meetings or as a quiet place for prayer.

All the money donated will go to building the hall and furnishing it. This I am very sure will create a long lasting effect on the students as it is going to be a place for them to assemble, eat, drink, entertain, develop friendships, pray, play and create their own lasting memories.
