Moorlands has acquired a church building so that it can continue to grow and teach Gods word to the people of Lancaster. Moorlands also has the privilege to be in a city blessed with two universities. We have a large congregation that is growing and need a space fit for purpose, to teach, encourage and grow Christians so that they can further spread the gospel to Lancaster, but also across the world. We have had international students from other parts of the world learn about Jesus and then go back to their country to continue Gods work there. This building will enable this to happen.

Last year i was off work with stress, resulting in anxiety and depression. They say having others around you is important for mental health and so is exercise. During this time the support i and my family had from our church family was incredibly comforting and a true reflection of Gods overall love for us all, because of the understanding of his character and Jesus‘s love and sacrifice for our sins, through good biblical teaching. That jesus knows our pain and suffering because he was mocked, scorned, ostracised, beaten and crucified, for us who did all those things to him, and yet he still loves us. Raising money for the growth of Gods kingdom is my way of saying thanks and giving back to this church where His love abounds.
