Kaiden was born in The Royal hospital Belfast 24-11-15 before birth kaiden had 2 very complex heart defects which would need numerous operations in Birmingham how ever when kaiden was born his feeding tube hadnt formed and he had to have a serious operation when a few hours old kaiden then deteriorated and the drs discovered kaiden had a hole in his feeding tube a hole in his breathing tube a small air leak on 1 of his lungs and his complex heart defects kaiden was put on ecmo and flown to great ormond street on the 6-12-15 were he was admitted to flamingo ward cicu unit they were prepared to operate on kaiden on tuesday 8-12-15 until further investigation revealed kaidens 2 lungs had collapsed and it was that day i had to say goodbye to my nephew who really put up such a fight and he past away at 5.40pm on 8-12-15 i will never forget kaiden the staff were truly amazing so i want to raise as much as possible for a portable heart unit thank you everyone
