Yasmin, 20, is a good friend of ours, and has been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a rare heart and lung condition resulting in her dependence on an IV line for 24/7 medication and oxygen to survive. She's currently facing a double lung and heart transplant on top of many trips to and from hospital. Yas recently turned 20 and spent her birthday in hospital fighting for her life and has just been allowed out of hospital on Christmas eve. As many of you can imagine, a young, beautiful woman like Yas, should be allowed to enjoy life like we all can. We have set up this page so that she can go and enjoy a belated birthday and Christmas the way she deserves. She continues to be positive and has become an ambassador for hidden illnesses, as a victim of discrimination herself, she seeks to create a platform for others in her situation. Her selflessness can't go unnoticed so we hope to surprise her with the best Christmas present ever. We also hope this page will serve to provide her money in the long term, funding her regular trips to hospital, medical necessitates as well as giving her the funds to treat herself the way she deserves to.
