Weʼve raised £145 to help raise funds for Elizabeth’s African Adventures Kenya volunteering trip.

Story
Elizabeth is off to Kenya on a volunteer trip in July 2019 with Tiverton High School. Whilst there she will be working in a school in Nakuru. As part of this she has to raise £2000 plus expenses. This money helps fund her travel, accomadation and allows her to purchase and take much needed equipment. Over the past year she has been busy running craft stalls to help towards this target and is about halfway there.
So, to help her Mad Dad, James Brameld and his friends, are taking part in the Montane Spine Challenge. This is a 100 mile plus endurance event in 60 hours on the Penine Way. This will be taking place in mid January.

5 years agoExmoor Search & Rescue Team MRT Challenger Update Thank you all for your support. Unfortunately, James and James have been forced to retire from the Montane Spine Race as a result of injuries sustained during the race. The weather has made conditions underfoot really treacherous and sadly, they've both sustained injuries which have prevented them from continuing. Chris and Peter have continued on towards CP1 at Hebden Bridge. Hopefully, we'll be able to bring you updates on their progress later.
