Hello, my names Ella Baker and recently I lost someone very close to me. My grampy, Steve Baker. He was the most kind hearted and hardworking man I’ve ever came across in my life. In 2011 he got diagnosed with a very rare condition called MSA (multi systems atrophy). Before my gramps was diagnosed all he loved was his work, there was never a time he was complaining or moaning about it, he had massive pride in what he did. But he mainly loved it because he loved the fact he knew he was bringing money home to the family to treat them and give them what they want. He did everything he could for us. When my grampy found out he had to retire he sobbed, he felt as if he could no more be the independent man he was and he hated feeling like that. But him having to retire did not stop him here, all around the house he was fixing things and making sure the house looked its best even though his balance was becoming extremely unsteady. Everything little thing he did we were proud of. He taught us so much from the little things to teaching us how to tie our shoe laces and learning to ride a bike to the classic one of telling us to be who we really are and not to be afraid of anything. He always reminded me and all of my cousins to take the right road in life and we will always have it in the back of our minds. But after 14 years of my life enjoying the happy and sad moments of my gramps life he got taken by the angels and we had to say goodbye on the 29th of December 2018. And then on the 15th of January we had to put him to bed and say our goodbyes until we meet him again. After a long 8 years of battling the illness the man he was makes us all more and more proud as the day goes by.

So, i wanted to hold a dance show at the newly hall with donations to hire it. Me, my little sister Emmi and my little cousin Lucy was wondering if we can raise enough money to hire the Neeld hall in chippenham, we could be able to go ahead with this. This would mean the world to me and all my family if I can put this on. On the night of the show if we wanted any spare change to go towards technology to help out with the illness MSA. I need as much help as i can get to go ahead with this so please tell your friends and family and also to share this post and get it around as much as i can. I hope if we can all get together we can do this. Like i said it would mean the world and more to me and my family to do this and it would make the goodbye to my gramps even better.
