What will the money go towards?

During my expedition to Peru, I will be part of a team helping to build important facilities such as toilets in local homes to improve hygiene problems as well as building kitchens and dining rooms in nearby schools. We will be growing tree nurseries to reforest the Amazon rainforest, building seed greenhouses allowing the children to grow plants and learn about nutrition, also allowing families to grow their own vegetables.

Why I want to help.

Many unfortunate families in Peru struggle to grow vegetables due to the humid weather conditions, as well as lacking facilities such as toilets and children having a poor education. 50% of rural communities are living below the poverty line, rural areas are also being left behind the developing cities. The deforestation of the Amazon rainforest is causing further issues such as global warming. By donating you can help change this!
