Story
I have committed to a five week placement in Tanzania that will offer me the chance to test my training and apply what I have learned over the last three years but in a very different clinical unit. I will be working in an HIV clinic, maternity wards and also out in the communities. This fundraising appeal will not only help me to get out to Tanzania to work, but will allow me to contribute to the costs of hospital supplies and medicines, that make such a vital difference. The hospital is under resourced and women do not have access to the kind of medical care available here; I am very keen to get out there and offer what I can in terms of help and support, as well as learn from them.
I will be completing the Plymouth half marathon in May as part of my fundraising and would be so grateful if any of you felt you could contribute to my fundraising challenge ❤️
