    Story

I have decided to run my first ever half marathon in memory of Vicky, because I miss her so much and know so many of you miss her so much too.

https://www.thebighalf.co.uk/ this is the half marathon on 10th March!

I'm doing this because I want to, and (thankfully) not because I am tied to it and have to raise X amount to do it!

I'd LOVE to raise money in the memory of our much loved Vicky. So I'd like to split it between the two causes I care for the most - 1/2 to Jessica for treats going forward, and 1/2 to St Luke's Hospice in Basildon because of all they did for our beloved Vicky. <3

Two things to note - I am not, nor have I ever been a "runner" and two, I have three children (11, 5 and 1), and the only time I can get out to run is at about 6am when its dark and COLD (when I least want to go!!!!)... thats 4 times a week, for the next 3 months. EEEK!

I know its the time of year when we everyone asks for lots of ££s, but if you have anything to spare, I'd love to pass it on in the memory of our beloved Vicky Pickard, who did SO much for SO many others and who we all miss.

    Thank you,

    Elle xxx

PS! *UPDATED 20/1/18* I've made the slightly insane decision, to do two! So Im actually going to do my first in February a month earlier!!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported. Thinking about the donations and the difference WE can make to peoples lives, definitely keeps me going when I have to get up at 5am to fit in the training! I've decided to add an additional half marathon to my fundraising - so I'll now be doing one in Feb, which is earlier than intended! If you haven't donated, please help me help Jess & those at St. Luke's living out the last of their days, perhaps we can provide them with a little bit of happiness and comfort in Vicky's name? Elle x
