Story

Hi,

Im Ellie, i am currently in year 11 at school and my trip is planned for 2020 when i will be in year 12.

I was in school one day this year when Jamie came in to give us a talk about Camps International. Jamie told us all about life in Peru and that the people we could help there are some of the poorest people in the country. Jamie told us all about the poor schools and sanitary facilities that they have there.

One of the communities is in a place called Lake Titicaca. The remoteness and inaccessibility of the area means that they get hardly any help at all. By helping me to travel to Peru i will be able to help build community facilities and a classroom for the villagers as well as restoring the school greenhouse.

We are so lucky to live in the UK where we don't have these sorts of problems and i would like to think that if we were in the same position someone would help us.
