I have been selected to represent my school for a once in a life time expedition to Nepal in July 2019 with World Challenge.

On the 25th April 2015 a huge earthquake hit Nepal. In total, nearly 9,000 people lost their lives and around 12,000 people were injured. Many people also lost everything they owned, including their food stores and animals. More than half a million homes were completely destroyed and around 300,000 were damaged.

When I am in Nepal I will work with a local community to help continuing the work of rebuilding schools and other needed buildings after the devastating earthquake of 2015. Another aspect of the trip is a 12-16 day trek to the Annapurna region of Nepal

As part of my fundraising activities, I'm going to do the Berkhamsted 5 mile fun run on Sunday March 3rd 2019.
