    Story

To all the wonderful souls who passed through Elmhurst,

I am sure most Old Elms will remember their time at Elmhurst fondly. However, there were a lot of pressures and issues for all of us to deal with.
Through many years of Elmhurst life, there was little or no support for anyone who was struggling with their Mental health and wellbeing.

We want to help the next generation of Elms by supporting work going on at Elmhurst in the area of Mental Health and Wellbeing right now.
This will in part, be a tribute and mark of respect for Elms who will not be there to share the wonderful, joyous occasion that will be the 'Oxford reunion'.It will also be a way to help the Dancers and Artists of the future stay strong and healthy on their way to their best possible careers.

We all know that an education and career in Dance and Theatre can be a profound and uplifting experience. A privileged world if you are feeling strong and confident.I feel we have an opportunity to help the young dancers of Elmhurst today.

Surely a gift from us, 'The Old Elms', is way to stay linked to the 'New Elms', in their most important years.
    A worthy cause indeed.

Whatever you can donate will go to help the work being done by Elmhurst Health and Wellbeing department. I want people to feel comfortable with any amount they can afford to give. It all adds to the total.
This a great way to feel connected to the dance world and is open to all 'Old Elms' whether you can make the reunion or not.

Thank you all in advance and your generosity is apprecaiated.

Dancing places enormous strains on an individual, both physical and emotional. It’s great to know future generations of dancers are being given the support to help them keep a healthy mind and body.
