85% of people with learning disabilities have said that they feel lonely and 1 out of 3 people said they spend less than 30 minutes outside each day, according to Mencap society. There are many reasons behind this and one of them is that there isnt enough accessible social clubs for people with learning disabilities across the UK. We are trying to help fill the gap in Bristol and change these statistics by starting Embrace LD.

Embrace LD runs weekly sessions in drama, music, art and dance with an overall aim to put on a performance at the end of each term. Along side this Embrace LD will be having parties and social events such as BBQs and camp outs. The only way we can keep this club running is with your help. We are asking for donations of any amount to help us to pay for hall hire, instruments, art supplies and the teachers of each session.
