EMICS is a network of volunteer doctors with specialist training in pre-hospital emergency medicine who assist East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) at the scene of life threatening emergencies.

The registered charity receives no government or NHS funding. All doctors and staff are all volunteers and the help is free of charge to the NHS. All donations to the charity are used to purchase the medical equipment carried by each doctor, without which they would be unable to treat casualties.

After learning about the noble, vital services that EMICS provide within our local community, Porsche Centre Leicester were moved to support the charity in their fundraising efforts. As one of the existing EMICS doctors is also a Porsche Centre Leicester customer, the Centre is honored to be associated with the charity for 2019, and have agreed to donate a sum to the campaign when the target is reached.

To kick start the campaign, members of the Porsche Centre Leicester team are participating in the Leicestershire round of the Tough Mudder challenge, taking place on the 19th May at Belvoir Castle. Sponsorship for their involvement is greatly appreciated, in our bid to achieve the £6,000 target.
