As many of you may know, I am currently in my second year of my midwifery degree. I am planning my elective placement to Tennesee, USA. The reason I have chosen to travel here is because a previous year have already been here and the exerience looks amazing! My heart lies with, caring for women, babies and their families and I cant wait to experience midwifery practice in another country. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to support my degree with a placement abroad. I would also like to add that a portion of my donations will be going to a charity recently created by Amanda Holden called “theo’s hope” to raise money for specialist bereavment midwives to support women and their families facing loss of a child through stillbirth.
