Hello, I'm Emily,

In July this year I will be flying out to America to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree along with 45,000 other scouts from around the world. I am one of 7 Scouts who have been selected to represent Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

This is an amazing opportunity and is going to be a fantastic experience. I will be visiting Virginia, New York, Washington and Canada as part of the trip. But in order to attend I have to raise nearly £4,000. The money I raise is to enable me to go but it will also go towards paying for other Scouts from other countries who might not have the funds to attend.

In order to hit my final target I am taking part in a sponsored bike ride which will be the same distance as the perimeter of the Summit Betchel Reserve, approximately 42 kilometres. This event is taking place on the 9th March and I would really appreciate it if you could donate a little money to help me complete my fundraising. The jamboree is very soon and I still have some to go!
