In April 2015, Nepal suffered a catastrophic earthquake which damaged or destroyed more than 50,000 classrooms and left over a million children out of school. Street Child launched in Nepal in 2015 in partnership with UNICEF to help rebuild schools in the communities worst-affected by the earthquake.

In July 2019, I will be travelling to Nepal as part of the Sunderland University team to help support them in the work they do. I will be carrying out vital research to help improve and develop the projects they run helping to support and enforce children's rights.

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Street Child and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Street Child International Volunteers.
