I work as a self-employed professional hair and makeup artist. Last night (7th February 2019) a man followed my husband into our building and stole my hair and makeup kit. I ordinarily keep them in a locked cupboard but due to being 6 months pregnant couldn't carry it up the stairs when I got home from work. This was my entire livelihood, I am now unable to work and am unsure how I will complete jobs I have committed to. It's taken me the best part of a decade to build this kit, the most valuable and irreplaceable items are undoubtedly my collection of brushes.

As there was no technical break in nothing is covered by insurance, I have to replace everything from scratch.

The stolen items were a MAC branded Zuca flight case and a Sephora travel make up bag. The MAC bag was filled with hundreds of pounds worth of makeup and the Sephora bag had all my electricals (dyson hairdryer, GHD stylers) as well as all my brushes.

I understand there are so many amazing and worthwhile causes that deserve your hard earned money but at present I am feeling so desperate I am praying for any support, however big or small you may be able to give.
