In July I will be volunteering in Bali to help communities with little resources in regards to mental health. I will be involved in a range of projects from psychiatric facilities to makeshift classrooms in temples,working with all various ages, abilities and backgrounds with the main aim to promote positive mental health as much as possible by boosting confidence, self-esteem and improving key life skills. I will also be teaching them English for development and taking part in a community outreach project.

My journey will start on 22nd July 2019. The placement fee costs which will cover accommodation and 2 meals a day on weekdays, during the week I will be living like a local with a homestay family. Extra costs include flights around, accommodation/meals/extra activities on weekends, suitable clothing and extra resources for the communities.

This trip is unpaid voluntary work, which I am solely responsible for paying for the costs. Nothing will be paid for by the organisation. Therefore, any donations of any size would be deeply appreciated, a couple of pounds can make a big difference!
