- Funded on Wednesday, 27th March 2019
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
This year for Garvey's Get Together we will be raising money for a bench to be placed in our lovely Emily's memory. The University of Nottingham have kindly given us a beautiful spot in the vicinity of the Hallward library. It will be placed in "The Rockery" on the other side of Library Road, a rather secluded spot given that it is in the heart of Campus.
We hope that this bench would allow people to sit with her when they come to visit the university and be a comfort to all knowing that her memory will live on there.
We haven't decided on the plaque yet so would love to hear everyone's suggestions! Of course any money raised over target will go to charity.
Thank you so much for your donation and if you are attending the 8th December - we look forward to seeing you!
xx
