For those of you that know me and my family, youll know that my grandad suffered with Alzheimers. Whilst i don‘t remember a time when he was ‘normal’ i do recall him deteriorating at some speed. My wonderful Nan took care of him for such a long time whilst always looking incredible herself!

Like she hadn‘t worked hard enough through the years raising 9 children!

Nobody should have to lead a full life to be taken away again by such an awful disease! Who you are, who you love, all of it - taken!

And to watch the person you love turn into a shell of the person they were, not knowing you, not being able to share with each other the memories you’ve made in your 60+ years together is truly heartbreaking!

so much work needs to be done to help with this disease! With medical science advancing all the time there has to come a point where something can be done!

So, on the 27th July i‘ll be doing a sky dive 😱😱 alongside my mum! I can’t believe im going to be doung it, and i actually feel sick thinking about it but we’re going to do it and what better than a cause so close to so many of our hearts!
