As part of my medicine course at Nottingham University I have the opportunity to volunteer in Zambia over the summer. The project is run by Home for AIDS Orphans, a charity who do incredible work in Mwandi, a small village in Zambia. With them, I will help build traditional mud huts which will provide a safe and stable home. As well as this I will be visiting old people's homes and work in the local hospital where we will be utilising the clinical skills we have learnt this year to help in any way possible.
