I have been using and working with glass for the last 6 years. My small kiln has served me amazingly. I have now got to a point where this small kiln is limiting my abilities. Preventing me to progress to my fullest potential. I have been going to Hertfordshire university on and off this year. So that I am able to use their large kilns. But this is becoming increasingly costly and difficult. For myself and my customers that commision larger wall panels and sculptures of my glass work.

Having the use of bigger kilns. I have also been able to challenge myself and progress further. My artistic knowledge is continuing to evolve. Moving on to a larger kiln now seem like a natural progression and the way forward. As my glass art is currently gaining lots of attention. I keep looking at art funding grants, loans and alternative funding. I am however not a graduate of art. Most funding bodies require this.

One of my friends mentioned setting up this crowd funding page. I thought about it for quite a while. Actually though it would be a bit ailly as im not aa charity. However since then quite a few of my friends and family suggested this page. So after another full night up creating more art and getting frustrated with the limitations of my current kiln. I decided to go for it and here we are.
