    Story

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be selected to represent England at the Touch Rugby World Cup in Malaysia in April 2019. It's a fantastic opportunity for me to give back to the country that has given myself and family so much from when they arrived here in the 1960’s.

However, as an amateur sport, there is no funding and the cost falls on those involved in the sport. Therefore, I’m trying to crowdfund for any contributions to help reduce the expense and financial impact, which will hopefully put me in a position to play against the best touch players in the world.

My family have given me a tremendous amount of support and understanding, I could not have achieved what I have without this!

In complete recognition of the benefits Rugby (Union and Touch) has given me over the years, I'll be giving 10% of any funds raised to www.woodenspoon.org.uk and will also donate £10 personally for every Try I score at the tournament……I scored 12 in my last tournament, so hopefully I can go a few more this time :)

Wooden Spoon are an amazing charity that changes children’s lives through the power of rugby.

I understand not everyone will be able to contribute, but a huge thanks for reading my story. If I have done anything to raise the profile of this sport and the brilliant Wooden Spoon charity then that is satisfaction enough!

Thanks for reading this and any donation you can make.
