Story
Ewan is doing a sponsored 5k Wheelchair drive to help raise money for a new heating system for the Hydrotherapy Pool that he goes to; the Puffin Pool in Dingwall. The pool has launched an appeal to raise £60,000 by Christmas in order to replace it's Air Handling System and other essential repairs. The pool offers Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy services to people living throughout the Highlands of Scotland.
Ewan has Learning Disabilities so driving 5k in a new wheelchair will be a huge challenge for him as he's only allowed help if he gets stuck. Weather depending Ewan is aiming to complete his challenge which will take place around Ness Islands in Inverness on Friday 23rd November.
The Puffin Pool is a registered charity (SCO17786) but as yet don't have links to any online donation platforms so we have set this page up as a way of making it easier for people to donate sponsorship money to support their appeal. If you would like any further information you can contact the Puffin Pool directly on 01349 864414.
